The Festival of Faith and Music is created and managed by Hymns Ancient and Modern Ltd, a registered charity. www.hymnsam.co.uk
This is a new festival, which has been created in a collaboration between Church Times and RSCM.
The Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) is the Salisbury-based independed UK charity enabling the flourishing of church music. We have been supporting church music and church musicians for 96 years
We provide relevant education, training and resources to our members and to the wider church in countries all around the world. We work to improve the study and standard of live music in Christian worship. We advocate music as a missional tool for church growth. Our work is underpinned by our Christian faith. We value each person as bearing the image of God, and as someone who should be protected from harm. We strive to broaden the church music landscape, to make it more inclusive and more active.
Church Times, founded in 1863, is known for informed and independent reporting of Church and world news. Each issue includes wide-ranging features and interviews, Bible commentary, lively debate on current affairs, cartoons, book reviews, and more.
Similar Church Times events include:
The Festival of Faith and Literature
The Festival of Preaching
Advent and Lent retreats
and events organised in collaboration with other organisations such as the Here I Stand Lecture Series with St Martin-in-the-Fields.
